Itinerary

We will start this day inside the Paci_c Ocean! Early pick up from your hotel, and depending on the waves, we are going to decide which beach to go for our sur_ng lessons, mostly, nearby La Costa Verde, in Mira_ores. After 2 or 3 hours we will get dry and get ready for a good lunch at a local restaurant, to enjoy seafood and the spectacular Peruvian gastronomy. After lunch, will head do bike along and next to Lima’s clif_s, to appreciate Lima’s resident areas and the outstanding landscapes that give us the Paci_c Ocean. If the weather allows, you will be able to see beautiful sunsets. Return to your hotel in Lima. Dinner at your own.

Day 2Biking Pachacamac / Lunahuana

Will pick you up from your hotel in Lima and drive for about 1 and a half hours to Cieneguilla. We start this ride in the highest point, where we start riding down the river through a very easy dirt road, while watching beautiful landscapes and amazing archaeological sites. We enter the hill zone of Pachacamac on our way to the Sugar Bread Mountain, “Cerro Pan de Azúcar”, where we can rest at his base the Spring of Youth, “El Manantial de la Juventud”, where you can cool and drink pure spring water. We’ll have lunch at a restaurant in Pachacamac and then continue by car to Lunahuana valley, for about 2 hours. On the way, driving south along the Pacific Ocean, we will stop to eat a typical Lucuma Ice cream. Late in the afternoon after the Check in at your hotel we will have time to enjoy the calm and silence of the Lunahuana valley and its surroundings. Dinner at your own.

Day 3Lunahuana / Paracas

After a relaxing night in Lunahuana Valley, we will start very early with the rafting activity, depending on the time of the year, our put-in will be in Lunahuana or Langla town. After a short safety briefing, we will begin to paddle in the Canete river. For about 1 and a half hour we will enjoy the warm water of the Cañete river, the beautiful vegetation, birds and fun rapids. After this activity will be back to the base camp to start the Zip Line to contemplate the panoramic views of the valley hanging from the cables. We will be doing the longest cable of South America, which is 950 m long. Lunch at the traditional restaurant called Mi Rosedal. After lunch we will be picked up to go from Lunahuana. After an approximately 1 hour ride, passing through the valley of Chincha, we’ll get to the Paracas Bay, where the coast will open for our eyes. Arriving at our Hotel is time to relax.

Day 4Paracas / Islas Ballestas / Lima

Early wake up to get ready to embark on a private boat that will be waiting to take us to the Ballestas Islands. The Ballestas Island are many isolated islands, where sea-lions, starfish, fur seals, terns, zarcillos and endangered Humboldt penguins live. What is impressive is not just the wide range of animals you can see, but the awe-inspiring quantity of birds: some islands have colonies of up to 600,000 birds _ying in and out any time. If we are lucky we may also see aquatic mammals such as whales and dolphins. During the course of the Ballestas Islands tour you will be able to observe natural rock arches, tunnels and caves that were formed naturally in the course of millions. Returning to mainland we will ride on a bus to enjoy a lunch at El Batan, a delicious traditional restaurant located in Chincha. After lunch we will head back to Lima, approximately 4 hours bus-ride.
