Leaving early either from Puno or Juliaca, we enter the road to Llachon at Illpa, passing the villages of Huata and Coata.  Here we continue along the peninsula of CapaChica, discovering the great views of the lake and its castal landscape until we reach the community of Llachon, our embarkation point.  After a short briefing we receive the appropriate safety equipment and embark on our three to four hour sea-kayaking adventure.  We start paddling through the coastline of Ccapachica peninsula to then cross towards Taquile island.  The support boat which carry your luggage will follow us at a safe distance.  On arrival we settle into the family home lodge that will house us comfortably for the night, have lunch and spend the rest of the day exploring the island.  Overnight overlooking the lake, with beautiful views of the Cordillera Real.  (There is also the option to return to Llachon and spend the night there). After breakfast we proceed to explore the coastline of the island by kayak and then head across the open water again returning to our starting point.  Lunch at Llachon before returning to the mainland from the peninsula. B.
