We recommend traveling light. Try packing only essentials. Laundry service is available almost everywhere and usually takes only a day. Depending on how long a stopover you have, you can get laundry done if needed, cost is about S/. 5 per kilo. Take layers, as the temperatures can change, when exposed to the sun it can be hot and as soon as you move into the shadows it cools off rapidly and at sundown, true especially in the Andes.
