| Day 1 LIMA / CUSCO |

| Transfer to the airport to board the one hour flight to Cusco. Transfer to your hotel. Afternoon city tour and ruins of Sacsayhuaman, Kenko and Tambomachay. This World Heritage city offers a fascinating blend of pre-columbian and colonial architecture. Lunch and dinner on your own. |

| Early transfer from your hotel to the train station for your four hour ride down the Urubamba gorge as it changes from mountain vegetation to cloud forest, arrival at the station of Machu Picchu Pueblo. A bus ride will bring you to the citadel for a full day guided visit with lunch included and afternoon return to the village where we will spend the night at a local hotel, dinner on your own. (Luxury hotel upgrade available). |

| Day 3 MACHU PICCHU / CUSCO |

| Early rise for those who want an optional visit to the ruins. The other option is to stay around the village and undertake shopping, relax in your hotel room or take a walk in the surrounding cloud-forest. Lunch on your own. Afternoon train return to Cusco, where we will arrive in the evening. Transfer to your hotel, dinner on your own. |

| Day 4 CUSCO / LIMA / PARACAS |

| Transfer to the airport to board the flight back to Lima. Pick up at the airport, lunch on your own. Afternoon bus ride along the Panamerican Highway heading south of Lima visiting the ceremonial site of Pachacamac, passing through the valleys of Caņete, Chincha and Pisco to finally reach the National Reserve of Paracas, a desert peninsula. Overnight at the hotel, dinner on your own.

| Day 5 PARACAS / NAZCA / ICA / LIMA |

| Early morning departure to visit the Ballestas Islands inhabited by sea lions and marine birds. Upon return, we take the bus towards Ica where we will have lunch. A flight over the Nazca Lines with the beautiful views of the desert landscape. Return to Lima in the evening, along the Panamerican Highway. Transfer to the hotel of your choice, dinner on your own. |
