These are either treks or river expeditions that entail camping and sleeping in tents (with pads provided by us). All meals, entry fees and commissary gear, as well as passenger gear, is provided for and carried by us. Although none are rated as difficult, the itineraries in the north of Peru entail higher elevation changes than the routes in the south of Peru. We try to get people properly acclimatized when we design these trips, for others we state in the notes at the bottom of each itinerary that two days of acclimatization are mandatory in Cusco or Huaraz prior to departure, especially for the harder treks |
